Eileen Ebert

Capital Section Rep.

Eileen lives in Ottawa with her husband Derek and their 3 awesome girls.

 

She has over 15 years of local Children's ministry, as well as background working with young offenders, kids and adults with exceptionalities and overseas missions. Eileen is passionate about kids and guiding them towards a personal experience with God. She loves to lead volunteers, intentional in helping them put their God given gifts into action. Eileen is also passionate about coffee and really great chocolate!

Barb Rothenbush

Kawartha Section Rep.

Barb Rothenbush is the Children’s Ministry Director at Calvary Church in Peterborough. She has been sharing Jesus with children for over 42years in Day Care, camp settings, parks, mission trips and in the church environment!She counts it a great privilege to work together with children, youth and children’s ministry leaders sharing the Good News.

 

She enjoys the outdoors, the beauty of nature, art/painting/creating, her kids, her fabulous husband…and the Grandkids!! They are the best ever.

Jenna Werenich

Lakeshore Section Rep.

Jenna graduated with a Bachelor of Theology from Master’s College and Seminary, in 2013. She is currently the Children’s Pastor at Whitby Christian Assembly. Jenna has a heart for ministry, and a heart to serve God. She loves working with children, youth, and families, and has a heart to reach the community. Jenna is passionate about teaching the gospel, equipping leaders, and leading people towards knowing and encountering Jesus.

Carolyn Fraser

Ottawa Valley Section Rep.

Carolyn has a wonderful husband, beautiful daughter and loves to travel. Carolyn is on staff as the Children's Ministries Director at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Renfrew and has obtained a PAOC credential.  She is enthusiastic about children's ministry and has been involved in various ways for over 30 years.

 

Carolyn is a puppet ministry director and has trained in Canada and the United States for puppets, blacklight, dowel rods, sign and white glove ministry.Carolyn has a heart for the north and dreams of taking puppets and kids ministry, on another mission trip, this time to Nunavut.

Darlene Dracup

Quinte-Rideau Section Rep.

Darlene lives in Stirling with her husband and 2 children on her husband's family farm.

 

She has been volunteering in Children's ministry for about 15 years, organizing midweek programs, teaching Sunday School and organizing specials events.

 

Darlene is an Early Childhood Educator and works in a before and after school program.  Her passion is planting seeds for Jesus wherever he guides her.  

Kate Tenkate

Toronto South Section Rep. 

With over 15years ministry experience in Australia, Kate had done everything accept Kids Ministry until 2018 when she became the Children’s Ministry Pastor at Stone Church Toronto. Though this is a new adventure for her it is not unfamiliar as both her parents and grandparents served in Kids Ministry for many years. Having experience in the performing arts and writing children’s stories helps to bring the creativity to Stone Church Kids Ministry.

 

Kate is married to Dr Thomas Tenkate and has two super ‘Can-Aussie' kids Abbie and Hudson. They love Vegemite sandwiches, the Blue Jays and the Wolfpack and pretty much anything with maple syrup in it. Kate strongly believes that church should be a place filled with faith and fun for kids, a place for them to express their worship and be released to serve others. 

Shelley Good

Member at Large

Pastor Shelley graduated with a Bachelor of Theology in Educational Ministry. After graduating, she ministered for three years in the Ottawa Valley as Christian Education Pastor, as well as, Director of Pastoral Care. Shelley is Married to Clive Good. Shelley has been Woodvale's pastor of Children's Ministries since September 2002.

 

As Children's Pastor, she is dedicated to leading all children in the footsteps of Jesus and to disciple them to become genuine followers of Christ. Pastor Shelley believes that children are a vital part of the body of Christ and it is her vision to see them living in the fullness of their potential as His disciples.

Lyndsay Stratton

Lyndsay is the Children's Pastor at The Embassy in Oshawa.

At The Embassy the kids have an exciting program of caring and fun with Pastor Lyndsay. He brings passion, specialized training and energy into children’s ministry. Lyndsay’s heart beats loud for the younger generation.

Hannah Lewis-Keating

Admin Assist. and Communications Facilitator

Hannah’s desire to be involved in children’s ministry grew in high school leading her to pursue education at both Master’s Bible College and Fleming College. After completing a Bachelor of Religious Education degree and an Early Childhood Education diploma, she became the Children’s Pastor at Marmora Pentecostal Church and an occasional staff for the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board. Hannah is passionate about taking children deeper in their relationship with God!

Bev Graham

Children's Ministry Director

Bev is the Children’s Ministries Director for the EON District and part time pastor at Norwood Pentecostal Church. She started teaching Children’s Church at 12 years old and has continued to enjoy teaching children first, as an Early Childhood Educator, then, as a casual Educational Assistant and Children’s Pastor for 15 years.  She has 3 lovely girls with her husband Pete and a heart for missions in Haiti.

Candace Bell

Admin Assistant

Candace joined the EOND team this year to assist the Children's, Women's and Men's ministry departments. 

Previously, Candace was employed as a teacher in the Durham District School Board, after completing her undergrad in Psychology and Bachelor's of Education at Queen's University.She has a passion to help others achieve their goals, and looks forward to connecting with Leaders across the district.

Candace appreciates a cozy scarf, dark chocolate and a good cup of coffee, especially if had in the company of a good friend.
