With over 15years ministry experience in Australia, Kate had done everything accept Kids Ministry until 2018 when she became the Children’s Ministry Pastor at Stone Church Toronto. Though this is a new adventure for her it is not unfamiliar as both her parents and grandparents served in Kids Ministry for many years. Having experience in the performing arts and writing children’s stories helps to bring the creativity to Stone Church Kids Ministry.
Kate is married to Dr Thomas Tenkate and has two super ‘Can-Aussie' kids Abbie and Hudson. They love Vegemite sandwiches, the Blue Jays and the Wolfpack and pretty much anything with maple syrup in it. Kate strongly believes that church should be a place filled with faith and fun for kids, a place for them to express their worship and be released to serve others.
